Living up to his name Hans Hunter is a fanatical hunter who determines to hunt the only animal he has not so far savoured - the homo sapien. To this end he hunts and kills CONTROL agent 27 and ships his stuffed body to CONTROL headquarters in order to lure to his island Maxwell Smart who he inexplicably appears to regard as the pinnacle of the species.
