QF-300E Ghosts were drone aircraft equipped with cannons and missiles. They were used by the Robotech Defense Force, and over 200 were carried aboard the Armor class carriers, and 120 were carried by the SDF-1. The ones deployed at Macross Island were launched to defend against the Zentraedi invasion from Sector 412.
