Covulytes were followers of Covu, when he was branded a heretic. They helped him escape the Brotherhood of Austeres and drifted the space with Covu until he found the Threshold. The Covulytes were afraid to approach this strange and turbulent corner of uncharted space. Only Covu pushed ahead, perhaps driven by the need to lay his family to rest in a place that would remain undisturbed by the Austeres. After his return and righteous retribution on the Austeres, they renamed themselves as Necromongers, and they spread their new belief, Necroism, throughout the universe.
