Batos is a location on Earth. A formerly independent nation, it was absorbed by the expansionistic Ades Federation. Batos was allowed to maintain a Provincial Fleet of Federal Old Battle Ships. However, they were one of the Provincial Fleets ordered by Luscinia Hāfez to take the vanguard in the invasion of Glacies, an attack which resulted in the complete destruction of the fleet.
