The Velox-class Corvette is a fast attack ship for ground assaults and anti-fighter support for space fleets. It was made by the Trac T'raba Co. The ships yards were originally in Kuat but the yards were bought out by the Kuat Drive Yards during the end of the Galactic Republic. The Brehk family moved the company from Kuat to Taris. In 17 ABY the company bought up rights to some abandoned factories in the New Republic System of Commenor. The Trac T'raba Co now have two ship yards on Taris and three ship yards on Commenor. The Velox-class is sold to both the Galactic Empire and New Republic.
