Fa-pu-ta was a Hynerian exclamation. It was distinctly unfriendly term often meaning "bastard" or "asshole". Under certain circumstances, it could also mean "like Hell!" When Rygel's room aboard Moya was ransacked, he told Zhaan, "darn it! Some fa-pu-ta is going to pay for this!" ("Exodus From Genesis") When Jack the Ancient showed John Crichton a Charrid flying Farscape-1 through an unstable wormhole, Rygel recognized the species of the pilot immediately and swore under his breath, "fa-pu-ta!" ("Infinite Possibilities - Daedalus Demands")
