The store first appears in episode 4 of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime, Misaka Mikoto is seen reading a magazine off the rack and later contemplates about the urban legends concerning around a person who can negate other people's abilities. Mikoto then meets Kamijou Touma just outside the store.
