Lieutenant Vachem is an NPC in Act II of Diablo III. While posing as a captain of Imperial Guard, he is actually a deceiver demon in disguise. The player has to ask Vachem for permission to enter the Command Post in the camp in order to continue the quest to stop Maghda. It was revealed, however, to be a trap, set in place by Belial. The Nephalem proved too strong for the group of deceivers lying in wait, successfully rescued Captain Davyd, and cleared the Khasim Outpost of all threats, Vachem included.
