Hutch was a cyborg and First Mate of a YT-1300 light freighter commanded by Captain Nuendo Rash during the Galactic Civil War. He had no sense of humor, and objected to Rash's dumping of several metric tons of grain onto Jabba's Palace over a dispute concerning Rash's debt of twenty thousand credits to Jabba the Hutt.
