Narceni, officially the Narcenian Republic, is a country located in the Kerlandic region. It has a population of 58 million as of 2015. It is officially a semi-presidential republic where the President is the head of state and the Prime Minister is the head of government, but in practice, Narceni is governed largely as a military dictatorship and has been since the 2010 coup d'etat which was caused after President Tooyoi's government refused to recognize the results of the 2010 elections, which were held in response to anti-authoritarian protests and demonstrations. An armed conflict between President Tooyi's government and the Narcenian Army for Socialism and Equality (NASE) began shortly thereafter.
