Anja Nissen is a Danish-Australian singer and songwriter. She is best known for being the winner of the third series of The Voice of Australia in 2014 and has also taken part in various talent shows since she was very young. She made an attempt to represent Denmark at the 2016 national final with the song "Never Alone", which was a joint favorite along with "Heart-Shaped Hole" by Simone. Both came up short in the superfinal, finishing behind boyband Lighthouse X.
