Ron Burgundy(VKUM053) was born in April 2011 in the Kung Fu Mob. His mother was either Slyder or Pilko and his father was an unknown roving male. Ron Burgundy was born into a mixed litter of six. His five litter-mates were Sex Panther(VKUM054), Tits McGee(VKUF055), VKUP056, Luka(VKUM053) and Gypsy(VKUF058). Both of Ron Burgandy's possible mothers were subordinate females, however Ron Burgundy's litter were allowed to live. Sadly VKUP056 was predated a month after birth. The rest of the litter survived through their first year. In early 2012 the Kung Fu's radio collar was fitted on Ron Burngundy instead of one of the dominant meerkats due to the dominant female's injury.
