Constance Field is a citizen of Columbia. She is a lonely child and avid reader of books, including the writings of Rosalind Lutece. She writes letters to Elizabeth in hopes of becoming her pen friend. She is contemptuous of her mother since she does not approve of Constance's inquisitive studies.
