The Rieekan was a transport ship operated by the New Republic in the decades after the Galactic Civil War. The transport shared its namesake with Carlist Rieekan, a general of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Twenty-three years after the war's end, Republic senators Leia Organa and Ransolm Casterfo inspected the ship, walking through its vast, arch-ceilinged, white-tiled corridors and examining the bridge and main engine room.
