Emperor Mur'Eq was a male Klingon in recorded Klingon history. He was a member of the Klingon Imperial Family at the time. Mur'Eq introduced the concept of the non-lethal bout as an alternative to personal challenges. In this bout, the warriors fought each other with blunted Bat'leths, with victory going to the warrior who knocked his opponent to the ground three times. He instituted these rules in order to make sure "his warriors kill their enemies and not each other." (VOY: "Prophecy") This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
