The water tanker is used by the Sphere to transport water from between blocks. They have also occasionally been seen participating in battles. The orbs pictured on the right serve as a mine field that is controlled to some extent from within the carrier. It can also hold several patrollers with a docking mechanism that uses magnetism to allow designated ships to dock, as seen in episode 19 "Alice".
