Togget was the grandson of Young Dinny, great-great grandson of Old Dinny, and friend of Barlom, whom he often brought food to, and of Bryony. Considered a trustworthy mole, he risked his life helping Bryony on her journey to find Veil Sixclaw even though he believed that Veil was evil. He was wounded in the battle at Bat Mountpit by a rat's arrow in his shoulder. He eventually was annointed Foremole.
