Alice (from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) has always been depicted with straight hair in all of the book illustrations and also in the associated films. The book does not actually identify what sort of hair she has. Alice Liddell (1852 - 1934) the real girl behind the character of the book had straight hair although, as the previous answer, the book does not actually state what hair she has.
