Monster Vault: Threats to the Nentir Vale is a boxed set published in June 2011. It details additional monsters and major non-player characters found around the Nentir Vale campaign setting used in the 4th edition rulebooks. It was released after, and designed to be used as a supplement to, the Essentials line of products. The boxed set includes a book describing the monsters and NPCs, and a set of maps and tokens for using those characters.
