Leif Downhorn is a character that appeared in the Smurfs' Cartoon episode 'Big Shot Smurfs'. He is the leader of the tribe of Downhorn. In the episode he leads his men in the tribe to fight with the tribe of Uphorn and its leader Olaf Uphorn, because of a lost recipe of the Uphorns as they thought the Downhorns stole it. He captured Greedy Smurf as being the general for fighting with the Uphorns and their giant general, Brainy Smurf. However, he founded that Greedy is only cares about eating but not thinking how to lead the Downhorns to victory. Finally he and his men cooperated with the Uphorns to send Greedy and Brainy away as Brainy also did not think about fight but keep on talking nonsense. Besides, the wind blew up the sand and everyone found out that the recipe was just only buried
