Edward M. Norris (d. 1990) was the husband of Trish Norris and the father of Marsha, Stanley and Hector Norris. He was a detective with the New York Police Department's 87th Precinct, and the partner of Steve Carella. He and his family contracted the Superflu from Harry Trent, and communicated it to several patients in the office of Dr. Brenden Sweeney in Polliston, Kansas, including Sarah Bradford.
