Captain Slag is a human pirate operating in the Frontier at the time of the exploration of the planet Volturnus. Slag and his crew attempted to hijack the starliner Serena Dawn as it approached the planet. In the ensuing fight the ship was severely damaged, forcing all who were able to abandon ship.
