Bess is an Everafter, the 'human'alter-ego of the cow who jumped over the moon. She used to work at the Golden Egg as a singer, living amongst the Faerie community in New York City where she was girlfriend to Tony Fats. Eventually, after the events of Once Upon a Crime, she leaves him for Ernest Hamstead, and the two eventually get married and have their own family. She is a beautiful blonde woman when she is in her human form. In addition, she has a rocket pack, which she can use to fly.
