Kitsune Konguro was a renowned scout of the Fox Clan who was called upon by Daidoji Imoto to deal with a vermin plague of ratlings. Konguro countered that Ratlings were peaceful, intelligent creatures, demanding Imoto to cease his hunt, which led him to be imprisoned within a nearby monastery by the angered Crane. A week later Konguro escaped, when the nezumi assisted him to climb out the sixth floor window. Imoto eventually disappeared while hunting the ratlings in the northern foothills of the Daidoji provinces.
