She is the spoiled daughter of James Garnier, who runs a famous hotel, and Visma Garnier, a beauty queen, as well as the grandaughter of Jacques Garnier, a retired explorer. Angel was performing at the ballroom of her father's hotel until she gets Azulongmon's call, and takes her to the Digital World, where she and Floramon met for the first time. Angel's dream is to become a famous ballet dancer. Angel is best friends with Ria Takeuchi, always rejects Jerry Throne, and loves to flirt with Yuuki Rukimoto, angering him. Angel is often compared to Mimi from Adventure.
