Rayhiko and Pearl first meet when Rayhiko is Luxio; Rayhiko is having troubles with his tribe of Luxio and Luxray because he has hurt his claws, hindering his ability to communicate with them via electronic pulses. Pearl, Diamond, and Platinum help him out. Rayhiko later returns as a Luxray, finding Pearl in trouble at the Fuego Ironworks, and helps him out.
