The 1958 Crown America 500 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) - Pacific Coast Late Model Series (now Camping World West Series) combination event held at Riverside International Raceway on June 1, 1958. Parnelli Jones dominated the race, but on lap 147 he crashed out of the race. Instead, eventual PCLMS season champ Eddie Gray led the final forty-three laps in route to his first career victory, holding off Lloyd Dane by a mile and a half. Eventual GN season champion Lee Petty finished 4th. Stats
