Derbyshire-born actress Lorraine Arnold appeared on Coronation Street as an unnamed Midwife in June 2009. Leaving the area to live abroad for a few years, she then moved back to London in order to develop her acting career and completed a one-year post-graduate course with the Actors Company at the London Centre for Theatre Studies. She is currently living in Greece and has recently co-launched The English Theatre Corfu with John Vincent Dryden.
