The battlebird was a type of bird that lived on the world Orimanther, in the Outer Rim Territories. During the waning years of the Galactic Republic, the Chevin slaver Phylus Mon traveled to Orimanther and attempted to capture a flock of battlebirds. However, he was initially unsuccessful, so he meditated and attempted to use a Force storm to knock the birds out of the sky.
