Dune II - The Maker is very similar to the original Dune II. It grabbed the original graphics and sounds, but graphics have been enhanced a little, especially explosions. It adds a modern interface, including multiple unit selection and a building system with a sidebar, similar to that of Command & Conquer and Dune 2000. Gameplay was balanced by tuning the damage capabilities of unit types against each other; infantry in particular was made more useful than in the original game. An experience system was added, raising units attack strength as they score more kills. The three original campaigns of Dune II are available, in english only.
