Located on a small peninsula overlooking Sandpoint Harbor is Valdemar Manor, the residence of the oldest remaining town founder Ethrem Valdemar. The Valdemar family founded the town's shipbuilding industry, which continues strong to this day. It is connected to the town via the Schooner Gulch Road, which joins the Lost Coast Road before crossing over the Turandarok River.
