The Motorcycle Diaries (Spanish: Diarios de motocicleta) is a 2004 Spanish biopic directed by Water Salles. The screenplay is based primarily on Guevara's travelogue of the same name, with additional context supplied by Traveling with "Che Guevara: The Making of a Revolutionary by Alberto Granado" adapted by José Rivera. The film stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Rodrigo De la Serna and Mercedes Moran.
