Launched in June 1988, Canal+ Zone airs movies and Canal+ original programming aimed at the 18- to 35-year-old demographic. It is also the only Canal+ channel that broadcasts adult-oriented programming at night, featuring softcore pornographic movies similar to those seen on sister network Cinemax's Max After Dark block.
