Pharaoh Menedes I, known as the Sky Pharaoh, was the first ruler of the last native dynasty of Osirian pharaohs prior to the Qadiri invasion in 1532 AR. His likeness adorns the Black Sphinx in the desert west of Shiman-Sekh, and the sphinx contains his royal tomb.
