Apollo 1 was a Human spaceflight mission originating on planet Earth in the 20th century. It was overseen by the United States of America's NASA space agency in the 1960s. On 27 January in the year 1967, a fire broke out aboard the Apollo 1 spacecraft during testing, tragically killing all three astronauts.
