The Laser Flits or Laserflits were a swoop gang which operated out of a bunker on the edge of Mos Espa, a city located on the Outer Rim world of Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Dressed in distinctive purple colored clothing, the armed gang of teenagers was responsible for occasional mischief. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, the Laser Flits ambushed a delivery of swoop parts. This prompted Rodian W. Wald of Wald's Parts to hire a spacer to attack the Laser Flits and recover the stolen parts for a customer of his, a Human named Qord D'Baelor.
