A church in Brooklyn, St. Michael Archangel was closed in 1942 due to structural faults, and became a favourite location of torture for Bruno Tattaglia. In 1950, Tattaglia brought Frankie Malone, a civilian and girlfriend of Corleone soldato Aldo Trapani here, before killing her. This event triggered Tattaglia's murder at Tito Morellis Funeral Home in Midtown as well as the downfall of Malone's brother, Marty several years later.
