He has appeared in numerous Judge Dredd stories, including Unamerican Graffiti, The Midnight Surfer, Oz , Soul On Fire, Song of the Surfer, Earth Wind and Fire, The Big Meg, Twenty Minutes to Midnight and has his own eponymous title. Chopper was created by John Wagner and Ron Smith, with a redesign as "Midnight Surfer" by Cam Kennedy.
