Kermit the Hermit is the "Wise Man of the Forest," as seen in a Sesame Street insert. (EKA: Episode 0974) He is named after his actor, Kermit Love. In the sketch, Bob plays an explorer, who trudges through the jungle, swims the ocean and sprawls his way through the forest looking for Kermit. His appearance gets more and more worn as he continues, tattering his clothes and growing a long beard.
