The 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season, play of college football in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level, is scheduled to begin on August 29, 2013, and, not including all-star games, is scheduled to conclude on January 6, 2014 with the 2014 BCS National Championship Game. This will be the final season of FBS football with the current BCS system in place, before a new system with a four-team playoff takes effect for the 2014 season.
