Souun is a location introduced in Genro Den. It is the western Capital of Konan - situated between the two bandit mountains of Mt. Reikaku and Mt. Kaou and consequently the battleground between the two. Essentially the centre of civilisation in the mountain area to the West of Kounan, it is governed to some degree by Ougi, Hotohori's half brother, who is in control of the western provinces under the Emperor. It is also a common haunt of Tasuki and Kouji and the Mt. Reikaku bandits. Tasuki's village is near here.
