The Curovao family was one of the Brentaal Houses. Both noble and rich, the family oversaw the city of Curovao. In some time, the city of Curovao became one of the largest cities on Brentaal, and the family used it to control much of its business during the times of the Old Republic. One of these businesses was Curovao ImpEx, an import-export activity specialized in transportation of military commodities. During the last years of the Old Republic, the spokesperson of Curovao ImpEx was Aladaire Curovao-Simo.
