The Anooba Class Star Destroyer was designed as by Kuat Drive Yards for the Crimson Empire. Considering themselves the true Empire the Crimson Empire was seeking a way to differentiate them from what they considered the usurpers empire and as such sought to create a unique navy. The Anooba-class was named after a predatory pack animal from Tatooine called the Anooba.
