Freddy vs. Jason is a 2003 horror-action film, with Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, and an unofficial sequel to Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare and Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday. It was directed by Ronny Yu, and received negative reviews from critics. It was followed by a non-canonical comic sequel Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash.
