The Academy for Sustainable Communities was a key recommendation from the Egan Review of Skills. It will work with a wide range of professionals, occupations and stakeholders to develop the integrated skills needed to deliver places where people want to live and work. This includes cross-occupational working and generic skills, such as leadership, project management, financial management and community engagement. The ASC is based in Leeds, hosted by Yorkshire Forward.
