Summer Squall is the world's fastest race horse. She appears in a 1994 episode of Sesame Street, where she pays a visit to the street and stays at the Furry Arms Hotel. Buster the Horse, her biggest fan, tries to work up the nerve to talk to her. Once he does so, they have a conversation and share a meal at Hooper's Store. Despite her running speed, everything else she does is very slow. The character is named after the real race horse Summer Squall, who ran in the 1990 Kentucky Derby.
