An autohopper was a type of automated self-propelled transport vehicle which traveled on preprogramed courses. They were routed by a central instruction processor (CIP). Autohoppers were used on Trid, among other places. Until 44 BBY, they were used by the dictatorial government of the planet of Kegan as listening and recording devices as a means of effectively spying on the planet's population.
