Surprise Party is a Mopatop's Shop storybook based on the episode of the same name. The adaptation is written by Caryn Jenner, from an original TV script by Sally-Ann Lever. The book is illustrated with photographs, which are combined with illustrated backgrounds. The suggestions for items in the episode are a whistling fox, a squid with stripey socks, or a surprise in a box. Bonnie returns to the shop; she needs some food for her party. While she's being helped, Moosey tickles the box, so that it laughs and opens its lid. Moosey jumps up and scurries inside the box.
