The powerful reflect armour is the result of Mondain and Minax meddling with the stream of time. It is a technological item far beyond the abilities of ancient Sosaria, powered by most modern technology. It is one of the many anachronisms appearing in the lands during that time. This armour was not to be seen after Ultima II. The abilities of this armour are twofold: Primarily, it gives the best available protection to the wearer, but it also doubles as a space suit, thus making a vacuum suit -- which does not provide significant protection -- unnecessary.
