The Neo-Luddites were a group of people from Earth who in the 4th Century PD advocated a move away from technology. They did not distinguish colonization and other space activity, wanting humans to live the way they were "supposed to". The Neo-Luddites came from more developed nations where their jobs had been considered redundant. They took their name from a previous group called the Luddites in the 19th Century CE, who were against the Industrial Revolution in ancient Great Britain. (HH2)
